• High School Connections

  • Clackamas Community College offers five college credit programs specifically designed for high school students:

    Advanced College Credit

    Advanced College Credit (ACC)

    ACC classes are college courses taken at the high school and taught by an approved high school instructor. High school courses and instructors must meet strict, qualifying criteria. ACC classes are $10 per credit, charged directly to the student.

    Expanded Options

    Expanded Options (EOP)

    This program allows individual students to take classes at the college or online while they are still in high school.

    High School Career Technical Education

    High School Career Technical Education (HS CTE)

    High School CTE courses are held on the CCC campus and taught by CCC faculty. Students participate in classes in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, welding and renewable energy with other high school students. Classes are paid for by the high school.

    High School Plus

    High School Plus (HSP)

    High School Plus classes are college classes taught by CCC instructors at partner high schools or designated locations during the regular school day. Classes are paid for by the high school.

    Smart Internships

    Smart Internships (SINT)

    Smart Internships provide opportunities for students to participate in internships at training sites and earn college credit. This involves a partnership between CCC, a high school/agency, the student and an employer (training site). Smart Internship classes cost $25 per term, charged directly to the student.
